Born in South Korea, Kelly grew up bilingual (Korean and English) in Toronto, ON while praying for snow days through most of the Canadian winters. 

Barney and Princess Diaries 2 became her first loves in film and TV that inspired her to pursue acting.

She has theatre training at York University's Acting Conservatory, improvisation training from Second City, on-camera training at Lighthouse, and is proudly self trained in taking selfies. 

Kelly loves stories driven by morally and socially ambiguous humans to get the audience to think and stretch the different emotional muscles in their bodies of empathy, love, hatred and everything in between. 

In her free time, she enjoys writing, playing piano, and watching movies.
